For over three decades Mr. Franza oversaw accounting, production and operations application development and related digital content and information processing technologies at NFL Films, with additional management responsibilities at NFL Network.  In his most recent role with the NFL, Mr. Franza was VP of Production Application Development and Support for NFL Films and NFL Network.  Mr. Franza previously served as CIO for NFL Films, creating their entire IT organization and environment.  He conceived and led development of SABER, the NFL Films Media Asset Management system, which he ported to a web-based portal called SABERNet, prior to leaving the NFL.  It is an industry leading MAM and CDN that is integrated with over 100 in-house editing systems on both coasts and provides research access to all NFL game content for several hundred non-editing personnel.  Prior to the NFL, Mr. Franza worked for Xerox Computer Services for seven years as a business and manufacturing Software Developer, Project Leader, and Senior Business Systems Consultant.

Some noteworthy accomplishments:

- development of sports' first dedicated broadband Internet portal (NFLFILMSTV.com)
